I wish to register a formal complaint in regard to Operation Grange , the so called Met Police search for Madeleine McCann. I do so on the following grounds.
1/ It has blatantly and inexplicably failed to look at the parents and accompanying party as suspects in the investigation. This is in complete disregard to the findings in the original Portuguese investigation. Namely
A/ multiple and significant discrepancies in their accounts
B/ deletion of mobile phone data and obstruction of evidence
C/ multiple indications by forensic cadaver and blood dogs in their apartment on Kate McCann’s clothing , the child’s toy and on a vehicle they hired 3 weeks after her disappearance. Also a close DNA match found in the boot of the same vehicle.
D/ An eye witness account naming Gerry McCann as the so called prime suspect, Smith man.
E/ The McCanns refusal to cooperate , answer questions and take part in a reconstruction which shelved the original enquiry
F/ Allegations from two healthcare professionals that at least one of the party , doctor David Payne is a paedophile.
They were made suspects for all these perfectly valid reasons , it is apparent that Operation Grange has failed to address a single one of them. The Portuguese closing report does not exonerate them at all , I presume during the 5 years of its existence Grange was aware of these matters , yet has acted as if none of this ever happened.
More specifically , Met police chief Hogan Howe has on at least one occasion claimed the McCanns have been ” ruled out” , firstly , this is at complete odds with Granges opening statement which claims ” treat the abduction as if it happened yesterday” clearly implying they were totally off the table from the start , secondly it is simply impossible as there is no independent evidence that exonerates them and if there was the McCanns publicity machine would be screaming it from the roof tops.
3/ This failure to investigate properly has boosted the McCanns public profile, helped promote KMs book sales and enabled them to take on further projects. Do you believe , for instance KM would have been made an ambassador for a charity had the Met asked her the same 48 questions she refused to answer in Portugal? I doubt it.
4/ Grange has wasted huge amounts of public money and police time chasing shadows in Portugal which its legal advisors must surely have told them were not viable lines of enquiry. In other words it has done a lot of work and spent a lot of money for the sake of doing it , no other credible reason.
The conclusions here are blatantly obvious. Operation Grange is a whitewash – a vast PR exercise to promote an abduction scenario that not one shred of evidence exists to support ever even happened. The implications are equally obvious .
A/ It obstructs the real police investigation going on in Portugal
B/ It potentially supports a criminal fraud of huge proportions the McCanns ongoing business.
C/ It undermines the entire credibility of the whole Metropolitan Police Service ( as if it needed any further help)
D/ It threatens the credibility of the entire UK criminal justice system.
In summary Grange is simply corrupt , it has misappropriated huge amounts of public money , it potentially lets child murderers walk free, it is beyond a disgrace, it is worthy of extensive investigation in itself …

Je souhaite déposer une plainte formelle concernant Operation Grange, la soi-disant recherche de MMC par la police métropolitaine. Je le fais pour les motifs suivants.2/ It is apparent lines of enquiry have been leaked to the media. If this were the case and a live child were being held captive , it would clearly endanger that individuals life, obviously a totally unacceptable situation. Furthermore these leaks have frequently coincided with an ongoing civil case the McCanns are fighting in Portugal , too frequently for comfort.

A/ différences importantes et multiples dans leurs dépositions
B / suppression des données des téléphones cellulaires et onc obstruction concernant des éléments probants
C / indications multiples de chiens experts en cadavre et sang dans l'appartement des MC, sur des vêtements de Kate MC, le jouet de l’enfant et dans un véhicule loué 3 semaines après sa disparition. Également un "match" d'ADN trouvé dans le coffre du même véhicule
D / un témoin oculaire désigne Gerald MC avec une assez grande probabilité grande
E / Le refus des MC de coopérer, de répondre à des questions et de prendre part à une reconstitution, avec pour conséquence l'arrêt de l’enquête initiale
F / soupçons de pédophilie concernant au moins l’un des membres du groupe, le docteur David Payne, par deux médecins
Les MC ont été constitués témoins assistés pour toutes ces raisons parfaitement valables, c'est un fait que Operation Grange n’a tenu compte d'aucun des éléments ci-dessus. L'ordonnance de classement portugaise n'exonère pas du tout les MC. Je présume que pendant ses 5 années d'existence, Grange était au courant, mais a agi comme si rien n'était, comme si tout cela ne s'était jamais produit.
Plus précisément, le chef du Met, Hogan Howe, a affirmé à au moins une occasion que les McCann étaient "exclus". Premièrement, cela va tout à fait à l'encontre de la déclaration liminaire de Grange selon laquelle "l'enlèvement est traité comme s'il était arrivé hier", ce qui implique clairement que la possibilité "MC" a été éliminée dès le départ, et ensuite que c’est tout simplement impossible, car il n’existe aucune preuve indépendante qui les exonère et, s’il en existait une, la machine à publicité MC, la crierait sur tous les toits.

Dans ce cas et si un enfant vivant était retenu captif, cela mettrait manifestement en danger sa vie, situation qui est évidemment totalement inacceptable. En outre, ces fuites ont souvent coïncidé avec une affaire civile des MC en cours au Portugal, trop souvent pour leur confort.
3 / Cette incapacité à enquêter correctement a renforcé le profil public des MC, aidé à promouvoir les ventes de livres de KMC et leur a permis d’entreprendre de nouveaux projets. Croyez-vous, par exemple, que KMC aurait été nommée ambassadrice d'une organisation caritative si le Met lui avait posé les 48 mêmes questions auxquelles elle avait refusé de répondre au Portugal? J'en doute.
4 / Grange a gaspillé des sommes énormes d’argent public et de temps de police pour chasser des ombres au Portugal, ses conseillers juridiques ont certainement dû leur dire que ces pistes de recherche n'étaient pas viables. En d'autres termes, OG a fait beaucoup de travail et dépensé beaucoup d'argent, sans aucune raison crédible.

Les conclusions ici sont très évidentes. Operation Grange est une opération de blanchiment - un vaste exercice de relations publiques destiné à promouvoir un scénario d'enlèvement à l'appui duquel il n'existe pas la moindre preuve. Les implications sont également évidentes.
A / OG nuit à la véritable enquête de police en cours au Portugal
B / OG favorise potentiellement une fraude criminelle aux proportions énormes, Madeleine's Fund.
C / Cela mine toute la crédibilité de l'ensemble du Met (comme s'il en avait besoin)
D / Cela menace la crédibilité de l'ensemble du système de justice pénale britannique.
En résumé, Grange est simplement corrompu, l'opération a détourné d'énormes quantités d'argent public, elle permet potentiellement à des meurtriers d'enfant d'être en liberté, elle est au-delà d'une honte, elle mérite une enquête approfondie en soi…
